B&A Writers: Is it possible?

As a writer sometimes you just don't know or recognize a way in which to 'show' something so you 'tell' it. But once you become a more experienced writer and step away from a work, when you come back to it to edit you will see how 'flat' a particular sentence or paragraph reads and you will ultimately change it to 'show' and not 'tell' unconsciously. You want your writing to be lively and dynamic and eventually it will become more and more a part of first your editing process and then the writing process. 'Telling' just the right amount of story will make the story progress forward and deliver you perfectly into the 'showing' part of your work. It is a delicate balance that you must strive for.
