Is the margin 1/2 inch from the sides of the paper, or is 1 inch, or from where you start typing? I ask because I have to use MLA format on an English Essay and I my quotation is long and it has to be an "an inch from the margin"

I have not seen a cardiologist, but they gave me this info based on the echo I had. Also, I had the Berkeley done and it showed an elevated cysteine level and KIF6 Genotype: 719Arg/Arg zygous carrier of the KIF6 719Arg allele. My hematocrit was low, although they never gave me the numbers on that one. Should I be concerned? Should I see a cardiologist?

Recently I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis after years of complaining and going to doctors in which none said anything was wrong. Only by accident it has been found. I found out though that it's been on my medical records for several years but no one told me. Because of having this problem for so long my body has become disfigured, it's harder to walk,breath,I have no energy because my muscles are constantly fighting each other to try and balance my body out. My right hip has pushed up and outwards as my shoulder droops down, my left side my hip pushes into my lung area and I have to push my hip down as I walk because it's so uncomfortable. I'm told I have to have surgery because my spine is severly curved. Plus degenerated. After studying my xray I noticed a strange shaped thing in me that I jokingly would say it looked like I had a wish bone. It turns out that it's a IUD. The problem is I had a hysterectomy 8 years ago. I told the doctor that I wanted everything removed.Since my ovaries were going to be gone I didn't see a reason to keep my cervix or uterus. So he agreed and that was that. How could I have a uterus if I told him to remove it? Also I never in my life used an iud for anything. I used birthcontrol pills.My first child was a normal pregnancy. My 2nd was totally different. Pain, bleeding, eventually the doctor said I was losing the baby but my body was having a hard time miscarrying. A dnc was scheduled and it was hell. The worst pain I can remember. Worse than child birth. I had my first baby natural except for one hour where the shot they gave me stopped the pain.The dnc I was doubled over. Two weeks later(aprox) I miscarried the rest at home. The doctor didn't get all of it. To this day I wonder if I really was losing that baby. I found out later that this doctor had several law suits out against him and he was known as the butcher. My heart sank. Fast forward to 19yrs later. During inbetween I always had female problems. Never did get pregnant. I was even put into fake menopause to stop my cycles because of the problems. So at the age of 39 I had the hysterectomy. I told him everything was to go. I was tired of messing with the troubles and didn't want the worry of female cancers to. So who and when was an IUD put in me? I don't have a clue. You'd think the gyny who did my surgery would of seen the thing in me. Theirs no reason for one, if the ovaries are gone. It's been eight years and I was told by a nurse their only to stay in you for one year. My regular doctor looked at the xray and is just stumped by this. Plus theirs no string. I guess its suppose to have one. I don't know anything about these types of pregnancy devices. I've never asked for one, never talked about them, nothing. So when I trace this down to who, when,and why, could this become a legal case? I was told I'll probably have to have surgery to remove it because it's been in me so long. Probably nothing major but still I shouldn't even have to be going threw this. So thats why I wonder about a lawsuit. For never telling me of my scoliosis ( i was told by the bone dr. that this could have been prevented if had been told. I would of taken care of it. I sure don't want back surgery)!,and for the iud thats been found in me without knowledge or permission. What has it done to me healthwise? This makes me angry! Sorry so long. Just need input of what others think.

My Doberman is now 4.5 years old, I have dont everything right, from puppy cles, to socialisation, specific trainers etc all throughout her life. She has always been very wary of people and dogs she doesnt know, especially in quiet woods when they appear unexpectedly and also is very protective of our home and my vehicle. She runs up barking right up to people and even if I give commands to Sit, Stay, Leave it is all to no avail, whereas under normal cirstances she does these things immediately. But once you become a more experienced writer and step away from a work, when you come back to it to edit you will see how 'flat' a particular sentence or paragraph reads and you will ultimately change it to 'show' and not 'tell' unconsciously. Prepping Concrete on a Large Patio?

i have never used one to prep concrete myself but tried to paint concrete patio for a friend last year.after sanding it down and primering it let it dry for a couple days as we were fighting alot of rain last spring we got to paint it. well with in a week it didnt look so good anymore, all the moisture in the concrete made the paint bubble up something fierce! she called another friend of ours as i was busy working and they rented a floor sander to get all the old paint and primer off. of course this left allot of hand work around the edges but she took care of it with a hand held sander and some 40 grit paper. when the got it done they put ceramic tile over it! it looks great but was expensive to tile . just an idea for you to look into is all. good luck and remember, have fun while doing it and you will enjoy it more later!

Bank giving us the runaround what can we do to expedite the process?

We had a creditor wrongly put a freeze on our bank account, we got it undone, had the court order. It was signed sealed delivered. We were told to take it to our local branch so they can start the process. We were told by the lawyer and branch it would be a 1-2 days process. The branch took the paper work and sent it to the legal department of the bank. Its now been over a week, and every time we call they give us the run around. We have been without money for almost 2 weeks, and need the account unlocked now. Now the bank's legal department won't let us to talk to anyone but some jerk who won't give us any info and has pretty much told us "tough luck". They have the court order in their possession and have told us they have seen it. From what they have told us its sitting on someones desk for approval from a bank lawyer.. But its a court order.. with a court seal! What needs to be evaluated? It seems to me they are just picking they nose and taking their sweet time.. what can we do? Is there anything in our legal limits to speed the process and see to they release the account ASAP? Or that we can talk to someone else but this jerk of a supervisor? We have nothing now.. we are on the brink of losing everything because the banks refusal to release the hold.

Guest dog paw/nail problem?

I would recommend taking him to the vet to make sure it isn't a vascular growth. It's not uncommon for dogs to develop growths on their paw pads. Many times they're just keratinous growths (kind of like corns) and can be clipped off with nail clippers (although these growths are more common in cats I have seen one or two on dogs). But without actually seeing the thing I would not advise taking the nail clippers to them yourself just in case they are vascular as they will bleed horribly if they are. Either way, it sounds like this dog needs his nails trimmed. Long nails are not only a cosmetic thing, they are also a potential hazard as they can get caught up on things and tear which is very painful. And in older dogs they interfere with how the weight is distributed on the feet which can exasperate arthritis.

Am I gaining weight, or just in my head?

K so I've been going to the gym for a couple of months. When I started they found out I was 20 pounds underweight and had 6% body fat. I have abs and muscle, but I was underweight because I barely had muscle. I've been looking at myself in the mirror and notice I have visible and strong looking abs and muscle, but I feel as if I've gained fat. I don't know if it's the muscle that's making my upper body appear bigger, or fat. I work out around 2-3 times a week and swim once a week. I walk a lot too but have gotten an addiction to chocolate. I drink 2 liters of water a day, plus 500 ml of orange juice. I eat 4 times a day. I eat pizza and fat foods on some occasions. That's not what's worrying me. Chocolate is fattening and I eat 1 sometimes 2 bars a day. Bars being like a Recess or Wonder Bar. I used to be fat, so I'm very self-conscious about my weight. Is it just in my head? Am I actually gaining weight?

i'm a mechanic and have a problem with my gf's truck orginaly had a prob loosing coolant slowly so i pressurechecked and no sign of leaks then the truck truck started surging as the guage jumped around and the connecter for the temp senser was broke replaced and all was well for bout 3 days then a heater hose quickdisconnect broke so i repaired it pressure tested again and no sign of leak the today the guage started jumpin around again but intermittently i drove it and it did nothin, and the gf said she smelt coolant at one point, i did not smell or see anysign of coolant but...pressure checked any way and to no surprise no leaks. i hooked up the pressure tester and did not apply pressure but cranked the truck up and allowed to idke for 15 min or so and pressure increased to 2-3 psi, as i rev'd the truck i noticed the guage on my tester was drop 1 psi or so and it would smoke just alittle (white smoke) did not smell like antifreeze on the exhaust nor did it taste like it. i was wondering could the headgasket be blown and only be sucking in coolant on the intake stroke?

Hello, I am bipolar (at least that is what I have been diagnosed with). I spend too much money that really I don't have. For instance my gma gave me her credit card and I maxed one all the way up to 10k and then she gave me 5k to invest and it's almost all gone and I still have bills to pay and IDK what I'm going to do. The past 6 months have been hard because I was taking care of gma, her health has diminished, she can't walk.. and she could really die.. any day :( As far as treatment, I am on Celexa 40mg that I've been taking a month but before upping the dose I took 20 mg for months and months (and it didn't really help) I'm also taking Klonopin but that doesn't seem to be helping either it doesnt even make me sleepy. I keep having HORRIBLE thoughts of suicide that are just uncontrollable. Like shooting myself in the head with the shotgun we have, stab myself in the heart, go to dads room and take his 270 pill bottle of vicodin, park on the tracks when the train is coming. Then it gets even more messed up, like setting up my own murder. I keep thinking I just want to call the police on myself and say there's a "domestic disturbance" and then pretend I'm going to shoot them so they shoot me. I don't know why I feel like this. Like.. I know people have it worse.. and I know it would HURT the people that love me to know I took my life. I feel so alone all the time and empty.. but I still know people love me like my dad, grandma, and boyfriend. I'm scared to talk to my family about it because I don't want to cause them grief. Each week I've been going to a managing emotions group therapy and a talk therapy. I'm supposed to start up another group tomorrow but IDK with gas being so expensive if I can. I have a astro van that when I bought it, the locking system worked perfect. I would use my remote to lock and unlock the van. The remote was washed accidently in the washer and it hasn't worked right. I have to manually lock my doors. Also when I lock my doors, the lock doesn't go all the way down. I'm feeling really under the weather. Woke up Saturday with a horribly irritated throat, slight nasal congestion, and tons of sneezing. I also noticed the same day that the trees in the park outside my window had just started blooming and I've had some serious joint pain as well. I'm not running a fever and I'm not that congested, but my throat and ears are king of itchy today. i personally think it is not a matter of emotions, it is more a group theory we against the world, we are better than other people, as most religion islam and christianity they believe that there is only one supreme way to heaven and it is through their messiah that is the truth. Would applying for an officer program while being enlisted in the Navy be a better decision?

I am currently in DEP as a Nuke and am trying to decide if it would be better to go enlisted and apply for an officer program, i. e. STA-21, to finish college after the first part of Nuke school, or to apply for an officer program while still in the remainder of DEP, such as NUPOC and BDCP. I would of course want to be a Nuclear officer. I currently have a 3.21 overall college GPA and 126 college credits. My major is in Engineering Physics, with a Music minor. I also intend to complete the first two years of a Business Management degree and get very close to completing a Japanese minor, in which I intend to complete both sometime later in my life. I have nearly all A's in all of my technical and science courses as well as all A's in my business courses. My GPA is low mainly due to my lack of effort my first year in college when I used to be a Music major, so all of my bad grades are in liberal arts cles. I had an abysmal 2.25 GPA my first year of college :l. Do I have a reasonable chance to qualify and be accepted into an officer program or should I wait until I complete most of Nuke school to apply for one? Pregnant, scared and confused?

I'm very worried for the health of my baby. I went into labour last night, but due to major issues was not sure if it was to early. Thankfully the doc was able to stop it, but was wondering if anyone had ever heard of a story like mine before? On Dec.3/07 I took a positive pregnancy test, to confirm that we were expecting ( concieved about the 10th-12th of November) On Dec. 6 I was hospitalized due to bleeding, and was told I was probably miscarrying. In the three weeks leading up to christmas my HCG levels dropped, but never bottomed out, and on Dec. 24 I had an U/S that they found what was believed to be a cyst in my uterus, but no baby. I was booked for surgery but did not feel comfortable with the doctor so I saught a second opinion in early february, and was told I was once again, preggers. (WOOHOO) I was booked for an ultrasound, and it was confirmed, but they found NO CYST, only one healthy baby, who they dated at about 9 weeks gestation. cont'd in additional info

I'm trying to write an argument one-main-point thesis on the harry potter book series and how christian parents believe these book aren't good for children to read. Bench Press Machine Question.?

Hi so I've lived in two different apartments in the last two years and both have a gym. In the gym they have a bench press machine and some other weight lifting machines. On the machines you can choose how much weight you want the weights say 1,2,3,4,ect. i wanted to know if these are intervals of 10(lbs) or 10(kgs) or what. It is a theocracy. God is the head and there will be some sort of "order" beneath Him to manage things. But, "greed" and "laziness" will not exist. Don't ask me how. I'm sorry to tell you this, but your collection is not worth too much (two to five dollars). Topps makes so many football cards that even the rookies are not extremely valuable, even in mint condition. To make your collection more valuable, you may want to grade your cards with Beckett (BGS) or Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA). They'll give your cards a grade (not everyone will believe your cards are all mint). It'll cost you some bucks, but the cards will be preserved very well (especially with BGS). The real reason they're not worth that much is that they're not really special at all. Topps makes tens of thousands of the cards you own, and i believe at least a couple thousand people have cards in mint condition. Serial-numbered cards are unique (none have the same number, and only that many were made). It's a good collection for yourself (great players!), but don't expect any to sell for more than a dollar apiece (expect if you grade them). (I think the Fitzgerald and the Roethlisberger can be worth grading if in mint condition; both are Hall of Fame caliber players. The older cards, if mint, can also be worth a little more if graded.)

The largest tar sands are in Canada (second largest oil reserves in the world) Most desert countries actually have nice light crude, infact Libyan oil you can pour straight into a desiel vehicle and drive away, it even smells like diesel. Although the major finds have trailed off considerably in the past 50 years, we are still finding it. Ultra deep water drilling technology is coming along at a fast pace, and they reckon they will be able to get to it in the next 10 years. But the actual reserves are just speculation. The price increases in oil these days are directly related to booming economies, ever time an economy doubles, so does oil consumption. So the ultra strong Chinese and Indian economies are demanding double their previous consumption every 3-5 years. Where normal economies are doubling every 10 years. Is peak oil coming....yes. Is it here....not yet. Some countries have reached peak oil in their own country, the UK is one of them. Peak gas, that's a ways off, there is loads of gas, but the demand for that is increaseing all the time as well. The best guesses(and I stress guesses) for peak oil is sometime after 2020. However the days of 35 dollars a barrel are never coming back. OPEC is just managing production now to keep oil at less than 100 dollars a barrel. When peak oil hits you'll know, estimates are that a 10% permanent drop in production vs. demand will cause a 400% increase in the price of a barrel of oil.
