Is it ok to put a sportbike inside an apartment to deter theft? Is there any rules against it?

I don't have a garage and I can't afford hundreds a month to rent one. So I was wondering if anybody else put sport bikes inside their apartment. I know a person that put there bike through their front door but they had a house.
