Strange Dream - Is this person real?

I had this dream. A man kept reappearing in a few of these dreams. He reminded me of the old comedian Rip Taylor but he was much funnier. He would make cameos in my dreams and tell a few jokes. These jokes seemed so familiar and I found them hilarious. Do you know of any comedian like Rip Taylor but much funnier and less flamboyant? If this man doesn't exist, what is the deal with this dream?
