Whatr should my fianc� wear for our engagement party?

We are having an engagement part on 3rd April and I have a nice evening dress. However, my fianc� usually goes out in jeans and a shirt and I think that he deserves to shine on this night as it is our time to celebrate our forhcoming marriage (call me weird, I think the focus should be on the couple, not the bride!). I know if I don't bully him to try some things he will opt for his usual jeans and my favourite shirt, but I want him to look great and draw some attention to himself. Our engagement party is in a skittle alley so it's nohing too overrated, but I don't want my future husband to look like a guest, so I'm gonna take him shopping even if I have to pay! What sort of thing should we be looking at for an engagement party? I know men don't fuss about parties like we girlies do! Thanks
