How to cancel a date to the dance?

I'd just tell girl #2 that you were already asked it might even increase attraction from her side because it shows value. You can't really cancel with the first girl unless u want to risk losing a friend and hurting her feelings. If she tells u she likes u tell her how you feel about the situation and then say I hope this doesn't effect our friendsship or w/e good luck dude I kno how u feel I asked the wrong girl to prom cause she was the only one in the cl without a date but I had a good time haha just some input, o yeah just ask the girl u like to dance privately one time if ya kno wat I mean ;)
