Which country of nationality will my friend be called if she is...?

Hi, my friend wants to become a international singer. And yes she can, she has a great voice and is really pretty. She is tall, thin and white, looks like an american. But she is born in Bangladesh and now stays in singapore. Her father is trying to move to the US. So, when she becomes famous, and have her own wiki page, will she be called a Bangladeshi singer or American Singer or Bangladeshi-American singer? And will people like her, her songs or will they despise her and hate her because she is born in Bangladesh? pls help me, i really want her to make her dreams come true. And can she win awards like the American Music awards, much music awards? Pls help!!!
