Should I dye my hair red again?

I dyed my hair red today about a couple of hours ago using a Loreal Feria home colouring kit. The exact shade was called Scarlet power. I have naturally black hair. The red hair colour can clearly be seen on the top of my head but hardly at all on the rest of my hair. Should I buy another box of the same hair colourant and go over it tomorrow?
